Chopstick Tuna Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 10oz can of cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup of water
- 2 cups of Chow Mein noodles
- 1 cup of sliced celery
- 1 can of mandarin orange slices
- 1/2 cup toasted cashews
- 1/2 cup of chopped onion
- Dash of pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°C
- Combine the soup and water
- Add 1 cup of chow mein noodles, tuna, celery, cashews, onions and pepper.
- Toss lightly and place in an non-greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle remaining noodles on top.
- Bake for 15m or till fully heated.
- Garnish with orange slices.

Historical Record
In the 1970s sitcom Welcome Back, Kotter, Gabe Kotter’s wife Julie frequently makes her “world famous” tuna casserole, which is actually notorious for being so bad. As Gabe remarked to his wife during an argument, “Nobody puts prunes in a tuna casserole!”
